We are a specialist retirement livery that have been looking after the older equine for many years. we are fortunate enough to own a large organic acreage so can offer 24//7 grass livery so the horses can graze peacefully with others in sheltered fields. We live on site so we are always around for the horses.
We also can offer a stables at night or in the winter months at night if required.
We also have smaller paddocks that have less grazing for our lamantic group.
The ponies and horses are retired for various reasons and none of them are ridden as we don’t feel that is retired, they all graze happily in groups that compliment the type of horse/pony that the individuals are.
They are all individual and are treated as such.
The ponies and horses here range from 8hh – 17,2hh and from 8 – 49 years old some were family ponies some show ponies ex racers to competition horses and all settle very quickly into there new life’s of retirement.
We have horses living with us that have come up from the bottom of cornwall and down from as far away as manchester.
The horses are checked three times a day and all checked all over.
Sun cream applied to those who require it and fly spray when needed.
Our horses and ponies and speak for themselves come and have a look round and see for yourselves.
